On the Tools menu, point to Fit, and then select what you want.

Fit Paragraph acts only on the current paragraph, possibly shrinking it or stretching it.

Shrink Paragraph shrinks (if possible), and Stretch paragraph stretches it.

Clear Fit removes the fitting and paragraph returns as it was originally.

Fit Text acts on entire text (e.g. entire body).

Distribute works only if the fitting is based on variable leading and it distributes the variation evenly on all columns. Clear distribution reverts.

Fit Current Article attempts to fit all elements of the current article.

Manual Fitting allows you to modify selected block: point size, leading, horizontal scale, characters tracking (letter-spacing) and vertical offset. Press CTRL+K to learn about shortcuts.
