This topic describes how to set the edition date. The default edition date is the tomorrow's date. For example, if you are creating a new edition on 14-Nov-2014, it's default date will be 15-Nov-2014.
To change the edition date
1.On the Editions main tab in Fred, open an edition.
2.On the Edit menu, click Edition properties, to display the Edition Data dialog box.
Change the date using the Calendar
1.On the Date field, click the calendar icon on the right hand side. This expands the calendar applet.
2.Click the day on the calendar to set it as the publication day.
Note: should you need to change the month, click the top arrows (left or right). Should you need to change the year, click the month and year (top middle), and the display changes in the list of years.
Enter the date directly
1.On the Date field, click the month name. The clicked part is highlighted.
2.Press the number key to change the month - even if the month is displayed in letters. Eg., press 8 to set the month to August. While the field is highlighted, you can continue to press keys to set the month.
3.Click the day, and then type the day number.
4.Click the year, and then type the year number.

Save the edition to make this change visible to other users.
