Delete an article

Important note: Attempt to delete articles that are linked to a page, published on Web or listed in a publishing destination will fail. If you need to delete such articles, first unlink them from the page, then unpublish from Web, remove from the publishing destinations and then retry to delete, or see Deleting referenced items by command line for a forcible delete.

To delete the article you are editing on the Articles main tab

1.On the File menu, click Delete Article.

2.Confirm when prompted,

To delete any article (from navigator or listing in Ted4 or Fred4)

Select one or more articles, and then on the File menu, click Delete Article. Review the listed articles, and then click OK.

To delete any article (from listing in browser)

1.Select one or more articles, and then click the Actions button.

2.In the popup menu, locate the Delete command and click it.

3.Confirm when prompted.

If an error gets displayed claiming you cannot delete the article as it is referenced by something, write down the article id and then see Deleting referenced items by command line,
