You can create stripes. For each stripe create a new subdash. Use Weight in the Subdashes section to set the subdashes weight. Use Space to space out the stripes. Don't set the space for the last subdash. See also Working with weight in Dashes editor and Working with space in Dashes editor.
Thick-Thick
For the first subdash enter the weight and space equal to 1. For the second subdash enter the weight equal to 1 and leave space as 0. This divides the path width in three equal parts.
On the path with 6pt weight, both rules will be 2pt, and space between them also 2pt.
Note: to have thicker rules, increase the weight of both rules as specified in the above table.
Thick-Thin
For the first subdash enter the weight 3, the space 1. For the second subdash enter the weight equal to 1 and leave space as 0. This divides the weight in five equal parts.
On the path with 6pt weight, the thick rule takes 3.6pt, and the space between rules and the bottom rule 1.2pt.
Thin-Thin
For the first subdash enter the weight 1, the space 3. For the second subdash enter the weight equal to 1 and leave space as 0. This divides the weight in five equal parts.
On the path with 6pt weight, the space takes 3.6pt, and both rules take 1.2pt.
Thick-Thin-Thick
For the first subdash enter the weight 2, the space 1. For the second subdash enter the weight and space as 1. For the third subdash enter the weight 2 and space as 0. This divides the weight in seven equal parts.
On the path with 6pt weight, the space and the thin rule take 0.86pt, thick rules are of 1.7pt.
Triple
For all subdashes enter the weight 1, and the space 1.
