Customizing text used for the shape measuring

You can customize the text that Link Assistant uses for the shape measuring. This is especially useful if you are not publishing in English language.

The testing text is available in the following function in the Page.vb:

Public Overridable Function GetTextFC() As String

'v1 on 11/Oct/16 (BS): overridable function with the text to use for measuring LinkAssist areas

Dim st As String = ""

st += "A 21-year old Jonesborough student has won best dressed lady at Down Royal."

st += "What started out as a girls day out for Sarah McEvoy and her friends, led to her winning an all-expenses trip to New York City in December, thanks to a lemon and black bespoke dress by Cloghogue designer Shauna Fay."

st += "I'm over the moon and totally didn't expect it, as I just went with two friends for the craic, really. I wore a lemon and black bespoke dress by Cloghogue designer Shauna Fay. I wore this with a black cape and a black and lemon headpiece, by Camlough designer Amy Farroll, and she's based in Lorsha Design, said Sarah."

st += "She spoke of her surprise at winning the award, and considered it as something of a bolt out of the blue, as the Dundalk Institute student only decided to go to the event earlier that day."

st += "She said: 'I won a four day trip to New York and £500 spending money. We're going on December, 3, for four days, which I'm delighted about. I was really surprised and totally didn't expect it at all, as I've had the dress from last year, when I got it for a wedding."

st += "The final year Dundalk Institute student has plans for a career in childcare, and intends to study for a Master degree in childcare for children with special needs."

    Return st

  End Function

In the CustomPage.vb, create your own function that will override the system's one and fill it with your text.

Public Overrides Function GetTextFC() As String

Dim st As String = ""

    st += "your text"

    st += "your text"

    st += "your text"

    st += "your text"

    st += "your text"

    Return st

  End Function
