To create a shape and assign type

Select a new frame, and then on the Plug-Ins menu, point to GN4, point to Type and then select the appropriate type for the frame. Alternatively, while editing the text in the frame, right-click, point to GN4 and then select the type:

About picture placeholders

When assigning type to the photo caption element, first group together the picture placeholder and the frame, and then assign type to the group.

About Disable Import type
