You may want to convert a wire image in an editorial image, and then to edit it later on. This topic instructs you how to do such conversion by means of the Send to newsroom command.

To create an editorial image from a wire image

1.Display the Wire images listing as explained in I4 Wire images listing.

2.Locate the wire image you want to convert in an editorial image, click the down arrow under it and then select Send to Newsroom:

3.On the Send to newsroom form, select the destination folder (the last used is preselected).

4.In Name, enter the image file name or accept the proposed.

5.In Title, enter the image title , or accept the proposed.

6.Click Next.

7.The report is displayed. Click Finish to close it:

8. Switch to an Editorial workspace, display editorial images as instructed in I4 (Editorial) Images listing, and then sort by the modified date: the image appears:
