Use the Automated Page Make-Up (APM) dialog box to review or change the automated page make-up settings before starting the automated page make-up.

Click to toggle graphic size

Note: some other settings that APM uses, not shown on this dialog, are available on the Automated page make-up preferences dialog box.

Only Opened Pages

Untick this setting to automatically open, as the automated page make-up proceeds, other pages belonging to the category, specified in the Categories tree.

Tick the setting to perform the automated page make-up only on the currently opened pages.

Important: if you tick the setting, it is recommended to double-check that all the opened pages belong to the category, selected in Categories. Even if it is not so, the software will process those pages as they would have the same category assigned, but this may lead to the later confusion, so do not do it.

Only Current Page

Tick the setting to ignore other opened pages, if any, and to process only the current page.

Only Selected Articles

Tick the setting to process only the selected articles in the Editorial navigator listing. Important: this requires that you selected the articles in the Editorial navigator BEFORE you displayed this dialog box.

Categories

Select the APM page category to make-up automatically. The software auto-detects the category from the current page.

You can select only one category at a time. It is not recommended to change the category manually.

Paginate From

Select the folder from which the software will take the articles to link to the pages, automatically made-up. The software auto-detects the folder from the default folder of the section to which belongs the current page.

You can select only one folder at a time.

Action

Select the action to perform. The available actions are:

Make-up Pages: it performs the automated page make-up.

Unlink Editorial Content: it unlinks the editorial content from the first editorial layer of the pages and then removes the shapes. The content itself is not deleted from the system, but just unlinked. The advertisement layer and other editorial layers are left as-is. Use this action when you want to repeat the whole automated page make-up.

Report Only: it displays the report about articles that concur for the automated page make-up and about available object libraries and shapes.

Place Shapes Only: it performs the placement of the shapes on pages, but it does not proceed to link the content. Use it for the debugging only.

Preflight Free Space: it performs the check of the free space and evaluates if the APM object libraries capacity is sufficient for that ads plan.
