Making sure an APM article will appear on specific position

You can make sure that one or more articles get linked to the specific positions on the APM pages.

To achieve it, you need to assign content positions to articles. For the step-by-step procedure, see Review and assign content position to articles.

When you assign an article to a content position, you assume that:

There exist a library object with the appropriate content position (the same as the article's content position).

The library object with the given content position will be suitable for the structure of the article. In other words, if the article contains a pull quote, the library object must contain a pull quote too. If the article does not contain a pull quote, there must exist a library object without pull quote.

The capacity of the library object will be suitable for the article headline and body length, within the limits, specified within your preferences.

What happens if your assumptions were wrong?

If your assumptions were wrong, the APM page or the part of the APM page will remain empty as no shape will be found for the article(s).
