You can make sure that one or more articles get linked to the specific APM pages.
To achieve it, you need to assign articles to pages. For the step-by-step procedure, see Assign or unassign an article.
When you assign an article to a page, you assume that:
•There exist an APM library with the same APM category as the page, containing at least one library object with the appropriate content position (the same as the article's content position) that fits to the editorial hole on the page you assigned the article to.
•The library object will be suitable for the structure of the assigned article. In other words, if the article contains a pull quote, the library object must contain a pull quote too. If the article does not contain a pull quote, there must exist a library object without pull quote.
•The capacity of the library object will be suitable for the article headline and body length, within the limits, specified within your preferences.
When you assign more articles to the same page, you assume that:
•There exist an APM library with the same APM category as the page, containing at least one library object with as many logical groups as it is the number of the articles, assigned to pages, and that those logical groups have the same content positions as the ones of the assigned articles, and that the library object fits to the editorial hole on the page you assigned the articles to.
•The library object will be suitable for the structure of all the assigned articles to that page.
•The capacity of the library object logical groups will be suitable for the articles headlines and body lengths, within the limits, specified within your preferences.
What happens if your assumptions were wrong?
If your assumptions were wrong, the page will remain empty as no shape will be found for the assigned article(s).
