On the Variants tab of the publishing destination editing or creating dialog box, you can review the already assigned variants types, and add or remove variant types you created as explained in Create a variant type.

Assign a variant type

Click the icon to assign a new variant type.

The Select variant dialog box appears, containing all the variant types, available in the system (except the ones already assigned to that publishing destination).

Select the variant(s) you want to assign.

Note: The Select variant dialog box contains all the variants, therefore also the variants that may not apply to the selected publishing destination.

Edit a variant type

Warning: if you edit the variant type here, it is updated in all places where it is used/called.

In the list of variants, click to select a variant, and then click the icon to edit the properties of the assigned variant.

Unassign a variant type

In the list of variants, click to select a variant, and then click the icon.
