APM has four working modes:

BY PAGE

In this default working mode, APM processes page by page, looking for the suitable shapes and articles and paginating the most appropriate ones.

BY ASSIGNMENT

In this working mode, APM processes first the articles assigned to pages, looking for the suitable shapes and articles. When all assigned articles are done, APM processes other articles. This working mode is automatically turned on if in the articles folder there are articles, assigned to pages.

BY PRIORITY

In this working mode, APM processes page by page, looking for the suitable shapes and articles, processing as first the articles that are prioritized, and when all such articles are done, it processes other articles. This working mode is automatically turned on if in the articles folder there are prioritized articles. See Articles and priority.

BY SELECTED ARTICLES

In this working mode, APM processes the articles, selected in the folder, looking for the suitable pages and shapes. You need to manually turn on this mode in the run dialog box or in Preferences.
