The following preference defines the quantity of information that get logged in the offline APM log.

Report Type

In APM builds 172 and newer the choices are:

•Log All Operations (also called Level 0 Operations; corresponds to the old Detailed Report option). It logs all the base messages, and all the level-related messages. Please note that such log is very detailed and therefore a bit difficult to navigate.

•Log General and Level 1 Operations: it logs all the base messages and only the most important operations, such as placing objects, linking, refusing, fitting etc.

•Log General and Level 1-2 Operations: it lists the same operations as the Log General and Level 1 with addition of more descriptive information about placing objects withing priorities, handling lists of non fitting articles, reasons why the articles were excluded from the current shape, etc.

•Log General and Level 1-3 Operations: adds even more in-depth information to the log related to filtering arrays, internal warnings about operations outcome etc. It is actually the same as Log All Operations but in the future more log levels can be added.

•Do Not Log (corresponds to the old No Report option). The log is not generated.

The recommended option is Log General and Level 1 Operations. It results in all the basic information, still keeping the log rather short, easy to navigate and readable. Use the other settings with more levels to generate more log messages.

In APM builds 171 and earlier the choices were Short Report, Detailed Report and No Report.
