There are two ways to create objects in the APM object libraries:

Using ready-made pages and converting them into library objects.

This is particularly suitable for the GN4 systems that use Fred to produce pages. While the pages are still live, do the following:

1.Review pages and locate the ones that are suitable for the APM, following the criteria explained in Predictable, Repeatable, and Ad-hoc page layouts,

2.Perform the checks on the page as explained in Checking if a page is ready to be converted into a library object.

3.Review the important APM properties of a library object and if you find incongruences, or you need to perform a major editing of the library objects see the following topics for instructions: What if you find incongruences in a library object? and What if you edit an APM library object?.

Use this method also when you are building an APM prototype, based on the pages, generated by a 3rd party software.

Creating library objects from scratch.
