Decide where the page content starts

Frequently, you may encounter problems to find out the vertical position where the original page content really starts.

On the following screenshot, the master dateline starts at negative Y of -11.377pt, therefore it is indeed in the top margin area, which is ok.

However, the first page object, in this case, the dashed rule, starts at 10pt Y-position, which may complicates the displacement of the library objects.

For the sake of the simplicity, adjust the GN4 master so that the first object starts and Y=0 and not on Y=10.

You can achieve this by incrementing the top margin on the GN4 masters for necessary value, in this case, for 10pt.

Special case with bleeding objects

The adjustments are slightly more complicated when there are bleeding objects, such as on the following screenshot where the black box under WHAT'S ON bleeds on top for 1.9mm. Please notice that the main part to align to vertical 0 is the brown box with WOW 24/7 and not the black box. Therefore, the negative Y-value for the black box is acceptable.
