When you create an unlinked article from an article template with local geometry, the geometry is copied from the template to the article.
When you link an article with a local geometry to a page, since the page geometry has the higher priority than the local geometry, the page geometry is used and displayed in the WYSIWYG pane of Ted4, but the local geometry is not removed from the article. Therefore, if you later unlink such article from the page, the local geometry reappears - unlinking on the page removed only the page geometry, and not the local one.
To remove the local geometry from an unlinked article
On the Tools menu, select Remove local geometry, or select a text by text, and then on the Tools menu, click Create Area, and then click Delete.
Note: while an article is linked to the page, you cannot remove the local geometry.
