Hold SHIFT and then press 1 through 9.

If prompted to link to current article, click Yes only if the article was not yet linked.

Split irregular frame in columns

You cannot split irregular frame in the same way as a regular frame. Doing so, the irregular frame would be replaced with a rectangular split. The trick is to use a tall, narrow vertical frame, wide as a column gutter, and cut-in the irregular frame.

Round corners on boxes

1.With the normal tool , select one or more boxes.

2.On the RuleExtra palette, enter values in RX and RY (the same values, e.g. 1/10 of the width).

Note

Corners can be rounded on boxes (directly), text frames and images (indirectly). The items with rounded corners cannot be selected nor resized/reshaped by the polygon tool .

Rotate selected objects

Click the rotation tool, and then drag in the direction you want. All objects rotate around the selection reference point.

To change the rotation point, click where you want and then rotate.

Alternative: on the Rotation palette, select the reference point, and then drag the slider to rotate, or enter the rotation value. Unlike rotation with the rotation tool, every object rotates around own relative reference point.
