You can delete the table content, keeping the structure.

In the source pane

First, ensure that the tags are hidden, otherwise, deleting would remove also the structure (the column signs » and row markers ¦).

Select entire table, but ensure that the paragraph sign after the last row is not selected.

Press the Delete key.

In the WYSIWYG pane (or on page in Fred4)

Select entire table, but ensure that no text is selected above or below table (if any).

Press the Delete key.
