When you open an article, you can edit the content of its elements, but you cannot change its structure.

You have to check-out the current article in Ted4, to be able to change its structure, e.g. to add new elements, or to remove existing elements.

Only one user can check-out an article at any time.

To check-out the article

Right-click the article folder icon in the article tree, and then click Checked-out.

To check-n the article

Right-click the article folder icon in the article tree, and then click again Checked-out.

Notes

•Check-out is not required to edit content of the article elements.

•A "smart" adding of elements silently checks-out and -in the article, so you don't have to do it manually.
