Text capitalizing features uppercase, lowercase, title case and toggle case. This is not a typographical change, but it converts characters. The difference between a typographical change of case and converting, is that a typographical change does not convert letter case in the text window, but just its printing representation, while converting replaces letters with lowercase or uppercase.
To change the case of text
| 1. | Start text editing, and then highlight the part of text. |
| 2. | On the Type menu, point to Change Case, and then click the option you want. |
To format text as small capital letters or all capitals letters
1.Start text editing, and then highlight the part of text.
| 2. | On the Type menu, point to Character, and then click Small Caps or All Caps. |
or
| 1. | On the Type menu, point to Character, and then click Characters Palette. |
| 2. | On the Color and effects tab, click Case, and then select the option you want. |

This inserts the tag:
•>small 1< for small capitals
•>small 2< for all capitals
on the beginning of the selection, and the tag >small 0< on the end.
