Taskbar on the Editions tab

The taskbar on the Editions tab is on the bottom of the GN4 palette. Hover over icons to display the short tooltip.

1.Display Editions only. Click to display in the tree only the editions, and to hide edition templates.

2.Display edition templates only. Click to display in the tree only the edition templates.

3.Display editions and templates. See Limit the number of editions shown in a title.

4.Refresh the list of editions/templates.

5.Import active document into selected edition.

6.Create all InDesign pages from the Fred pages in the selected edition.

7.Display only the InDesign pages in the selected edition.

8.Display only the Fred pages in the selected edition.

9.Display the InDesign and Fred pages in the selected edition.

10.Refresh list of pages.

11.Display the dialog box to edit the properties of the selected pages.

12.Remove the selected pages from the edition.

13.Unlock the selected page.

14.Copy the selected pages to another edition.

15.Check-out the selected document for the offline editing (the document must not be opened!).

16.Show more of pages (if some are not shown).

17.The counter for shown pages and the total pages. If the numbers are the same, all the pages are displayed.

How can I tell which command is active?

The current command is highlighted in yellow.

Why I do not see the taskbar?

The taskbar appears only if there's enough horizontal space to display it. If you do not see the taskbar, make the palette window wider.
