TASK: Save changes and import them in database

In this task you will learn how to save changes in your configuration file, and to import them in the database.

In this example we choose the FRED4_Config.xml file for the Fred4 application.

You will be able to perform this task only if:

•You have a modified configuration file opened in Visual Studio.

•You have prepared Visual Studio to import configurations as explained in TASK: Prepare your Visual Studio to import configuration files in database.

1.On the File menu, click Save to save the modified file.

2.On the Tools menu, click the import option you've configured in TASK: Prepare your Visual Studio to import configuration files in database.

3.If everything is ok, on the bottom of the Visual Studio window, you will read something as:

Cmd4 version 2.1.2109.0
