The Take Photo button allows you to take a photograph directly from within the GNXcapture application and upload it into GN4. You take a photo using your device’s own interface for photo capture; therefore use your device’s viewfinder. A preview of the image taken will be displayed.

Once you are happy with the image, click on your Use button (or equivalent). Once confirmed the GNXcapture application will prepare the image for upload and return to the Home Page. At this point you will be prompted to provide a title for the image.

Give the image a title name and click on OK to automatically upload the image into GN4. When the image has been successfully uploaded the Image details screen for the image is displayed. This information may be different system to system but could contain metadata on the date and time the image was created, the creator, the last time the image was modified and by whom, which story the image may be attached to and the image size. An example is shown:

Note: Uploaded images cannot be saved to the device and will be lost if they fail to upload.
