THIS STEP IS TO BE PERFORMED ON THE LIVE SERVERS!
Depending on the nature of the disaster, you might still have parts of the live server active. Anyway, the whole live server should be disabled to make sure it will not attempt to replicate data over to the DR servers for example.
The Services should be disabled as opposed to just stopped. This is to ensure they do not start running if the server is restarted.
Note: the following example is based on the assumed servers structure that might be very different in your case!
You should make sure the following is disabled on the live servers:
1. On the L-GN4Web server:
•Disable World Wide Web Publishing Service Service.
2. On the L-GN4Back4 server:
•Disable Tera Back4 service.
•Disable Replicate E-Volume Windows Scheduled Task.
3. On the L-GN4SQL server:
•Disable the SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER) Service so it will not attempt to replicate data from the Live server to the DR server.
4. On the L-GN4Index server:
•Disable the Exalead Cloudview service.
