I4 on the Android

The current XML editor will not fully function on the Android platform. We have reported the issues we have identified to the third-party supplier and they have promised an Android specific release in January 2015. Until then editing on an Android tablet/mobile, using I4 is not an option.

We will investigate alternative editors if January looks in doubt. We may also consider a limited editing function on Android.

ClickOnce download

The ClickOnce download feature enabling the user to download TED/FRED, ... from anywhere in the world with an internet connection will no longer work with a Chrome browser. Google have modified the rules for their plug-in that enables Microsoft technology (that we use for ClickOnce) to be run from within their browser with the result that applications similar to ClickOnce are no longer allowed.

There is nothing we can do in the short term to address this other than recommend the user uses a different browser for the download.

Excel import filters for GN4

There is no current functionality importing Excel files into GN4.
