Task: Set color trap registration

1.On the Edit menu, click Color settings.

2.Select a color and then click Trap.

3.In Undefined Colors Default, review the relation ship of the current color with undefined colors.
It is recommended to select Trap.

4.For "defined colors" (in the lists), select one or more, and then click Set Trap or Set Overprint, or Set Default.

Notes

The dialog box has two parts: the upper part, marked as "Undefined Colors Default", applies to colors not in the below list. The part with the list of defined colors, refers to "defined colors".

It is recommended to use Trap relation ship for all colors except K or Registration. This will knock-out the overprinted colors, keeping them genuine in print.

Quick colors are always trapped with other colors when printing in composite, while they are trapped as the C,M,Y and K components when printing in color separation.
