Short name

The short name of sections, zones and editions numbers are shown as defined in the Name field as explained in the Create a section, Create a zone and Create an edition number topics.

Note: if a short name of a section, zone, or edition number contains only a '-' (a single hyphen character) it is considered as an 'empty' name.

Descriptive name

The descriptive name of sections, zones and edition number is composed concatenating the title name with the name of the object.

Examples

•Zone named '-' in title 'VK': short name '' (empty), descriptive name 'VK:-'.

•Zone named 'North' in title 'DN': short name 'North', descriptive name 'DN:North'.

•Section named '-' in title 'DN': short name '' (empty), descriptive name 'DN:-'.

•Section named 'A' in title 'DN': short name 'A', descriptive name 'DN:A'.

•Edition number named 'First' in title 'DN': short name 'First', descriptive name 'DN:First'.

•Edition number named '-' in title 'DN': short name '' (empty), descriptive name 'DN:-'.
