Fire kills at least 29 in northern Iraq city

   SULAIMANIYA, Iraq, July 16 (Reuters) - A fire at a hotel in

the northern Iraqi city of Sulaimaniya killed 29 people,

including foreigners, and injured at least 22 others, a health

department official said on Friday.

   The fire, at the Soma Hotel in the central area of the city,

raged out of control for several hours, officials said.

   "This is not a terrorist act. Most probably it was due to an

electrical fault," said Qader Hama-Jan, a local security

official.
