Scale image by mouse

•With the normal tool , drag a corner selection handle,

•Drag a middle selection handle.

Note

To prevent distortion, on the Edit menu, click Preferences, and then on the Main tab, do one of the following:

•Select Keep images aspect ratio. This simply removes middle handles from real images (but not from placeholders).

•Select Fit images on scale instead. This keeps middle handles in place, and fits/crops image when resizing it.

Scale image by keys

Press 1..9 to size the image to the specified column width.

Zoom a selected image in small steps

Press SHIFT+ALT+PLUS SIGN, to zoom in the selected image, or SHIFT+ALT+MINUS SIGN, to zoom it out.

Alternatively, hold SHIFT and rotate the mouse wheel.

Flip a image

On the Images menu, point to Flip/Color, and then select Flip horizontally, or Flip vertically.
