This scale objects 'by value' method provides an "easy-to-use" horizontal and vertical scaling for the standard pagination measures, e.g. make wider or narrower for 1 column, half column, 1pt, make higher or shorter for 1 line, or 1pt, by pressing predefined combinations of shortcut keys.
Note: the listed shortcuts apply to the standard configuration. Your custom configuration may be different. The keys are set in the Fred4_Tabitems.

All limitations, regarding multiple selections and direction of resizing, apply on this method too. Images are always scaled isotropically, so when you make it wider, it will become higher too and the aspect is maintained. The isotropic scaling of images is not available in multiple selections, therefore it is recommended not to include images in multiple selections when using this resizing method. |
