To replace a graphics on a page with another wire or archive graphics, on the page select the graphics you want to replace, and then drag over it the new graphics from the navigator.

Click to toggle graphic size

In versions newer than 2.X.2792.Y (where X can be 2, 3 or more), you will be prompted to choose the outcome:

Click to toggle graphic size

Click Yes to replace the selected instance of the graphics.

Click No to replace all the instances of the graphics, in whichever edition, page, master or library object it is. IMPORTANT: this can be potentially destructive operation, so make sure you understand the consequences well - the pages, masters, or library objects that were using the current graphics, will all get the new graphics!

Click Cancel to abort the replacement.

Note

In versions prior to 2.X.2793.Y (where X can be 2, 3 or more), the default action was to replace all instances. The workaround was to crop the replacement image beforehand (that generates an editorial image), and then to drag it over.
