You may want to reload the image's original caption into the photo caption text element you're editing.

This may be needed if you believe the original caption is more appropriate than the modified one.

The original caption and credit will overwrite the existing ones (if any).

To reload image caption for an article image

Open the photo caption article element and then on the Type menu, click Insert Picture Caption.

The original caption and credit are copied from image metadata and pasted in the photo caption element.
