Since the version 2.4, you can publish media galleries directly, without the need to assign them first to articles, on VirtualCom CMS destination.

Nothing changed in publishing media galleries from within the parent article.

New configuration to load

Files .../Main/Config/Global/GN4/xsl_ToVirtualCom.xslt and .../Main/Config/Data/GN4/pubTemplateVirtualCom.xml must be imported to enable this functionality.

About re-publishing

As for videos, a MediaGallery is not republished if not updated after last publish. A "skipped ..." info will be shown in the workflow result message.
