PDFLib for version 2.0 was fixed on 12/March/2014 for the images compression.

Now, if you apply the conversion (RGB/CMYK/Gray) and in page there are no vectorized images (PDF/EPS), the PDF created will have Jpeg compression.

This applies also on pages with PDF/EPS in case that you turned on the option to rasterize such objects as images.
