The GN4 license is physically stored in the database and since the database on the BG system is an exact duplicate of the live database on the LB system, the licenses are identical as well.
This has couple of repercussions:
1. Once the DR system is brought online (and hence it is using the license), the Tera license database marks the license as "Duplicated".
2. This is OK, it will only disable the license after 30 days unless it is marked as "OK" by the Tera staff.
3. Because of this, it is extremely important that every time the DR system is brought online, whether it is because of a real disaster recovery situation, or only a testing scenario, Miles33 staff should be informed as soon as possible. That way the license can be marked as "OK" in the license database and it will not cause the live system to become inoperable in 30 days.
