Measurement

Select what you want as your default horizontal and vertical measurement unit during page editing.

Since the version 2.1, these preferences are used also on the Geometry data dialog box in EdAdmin4.

Since the version 2.1, we added the Modules measurement unit preference. This is used in the Modules height and gutter fields of the Geometry data dialog box and palette. It allows you, for example, to use mm for page dimensions and pt for module height.

On matching layers drop

Select Ask to be prompted what to do, Replace to automatically replace, and Add to automatically add.

Note: pay attention at the Replace option when dealing with pages having multiple editorial and ads layers. The Replace option will replace the first layer of the given kind - not necessarily the one you intend to replace.

Move the layer with d&d from other edition (instead of copy)

Select it also when you want to share layers by drag and drop, holding SHIFT pressed.

Try auto check-out on d&d

Select to attempt to automatically check-out items on drag and drop. Note: this will work only if the items are not in use by someone.
