This page is designed in Fred on a background image that simulates the parchment paper.

We placed the background photo directly on the page, but you can put it on a master page as well.

We applied thick white borders and the soft shadow on the pictures,

The clipped art shows with a transparent background as long the clipping path is saved in Photoshop or created in Fred.

The “star” shape is pulled from the object library.

A variety of custom box borders is available in Fred through scripts. This border has a concave corners, white external rule of 3pt, the 1pt internal rule and the 20% black fill.

You draw it as any other object.
