This functionality allows to editors to link articles to the designated shapes from their tablets. Afterward, page subs will fit those articles.

To link articles from i4

1.Run I4, and then on the Editorial workspace, under Edition Tracking, click Editions.

2.On the Search - Editions form, entering the search criteria to locate an edition, and then press 8.

3.On the Name column, click the edition you want to use: the listing of editions turns into the listing of all the pages of the selected edition.

4.Click a down-arrow button under the page you want link article to, and then select Design. The screen turns into a three-part listing/form/preview.

5.Tick Search by Page Category to locate all the articles that have the same category as the page, and are not yet linked.

6.Click a shape on the preview, and then tick Search by Shape Location, to narrow the search to only the articles that have the same content position as the selected shape.

7.In the left side listing, click an article you want, and then click the Link icon.
