You may want to have an empty search on the Pages navigator after the Fred startup, instead to have the last used edition.

This may help in case you use to spike published editions on the daily basis, as on the day after, the yesterday's edition won't be available anymore.

On the Opening subtab of the Extra tab on the Preferences dialog box, tick the Leave Empty Search on Navigator (except for Saved Workspace). By default it is not ticked.

Notes

•This will work only if you have no saved workspace with searches, to be loaded on startup. If the loaded workspace contains searches, the navigator will refresh accordingly.

•This may require that you adjust your Fred4Pages query in Fred4_Config.XML to prevent the searches without any criteria. Otherwise, navigator will be populated with the list of all the pages in all the live editions in all the titles.

•This functionality uses the variable F_LeaveEmptySearch.
