This section contains instructions on how to configure XML-RPC for Joomla.

1.Download the XML-RPC module for Joomla. Ensure you have the correct version for your Joomla version! For Joomla 2.5, use at least version 1.8.1 (previous versions don't process dates correctly)

2.Add the Extension to Joomla, as usual: http://docs.joomla.org/Installing_an_extension

3.In Joomla's administrative panel, go to Extension Manager/Manage and search for the string XMLRPC. Enable the extension as per image (the "Status" should be the green tickbox):

4.Enable the extension via Components/XMLRPC (a new menu item is available under "Components"):

5.[*]Configure the XMLRPC extension as per image:

Note that in the images above, RSD is enabled as well: this is not necessary for GN4, but will be useful for Windows Live Writer.
