Introduction to the Pages main tab

The Pages main tab is available in Fred4.

Use it to design, retrieve, edit, print and preview pages of the paper production.

The Pages main tab is especially designed to:

Design pages in multiple editions at once.

Fit content to page or page to content.

Format text.

Enrich content with wire or archived stories, images, videos and audios.

Create and edit tables.

Send articles and pages in the copy flow.

Print pages on newsroom printers or on final devices

Retrieve any content.

Review and manage tasks and create them for page articles.

Work with collections, wires, archive, editorial images without leaving articles

Create, edit, retrieve and manage object libraries and library objects.

Add, remove and edit master pages.

Add/remove page layers.

Unlock locked content.

The Pages main tab typically consists of:

Collapsible Navigators, typically shown on the left side of the main window.

Multiple pages.

Numerous palettes.
