In version 2.4 we improved the MultiCrop control in Ted, Fred and Shell.

List of changes

•When no variantType is passed to the MultiCrop activity, then the pubDest tree is displayed at the top of the control.

 

Select a pubDest in the tree to fill the list of the associated variantType at the right.

You can select/deselect multiple pubDest at time, by holding the CTRL button while clicking on the tree.

•removed the old 'Set Variant Crop' and 'Delete All' buttons.

Now each variantType in the list has three buttons: Save, Delete and Revert.

 

These buttons are visible only when the variantType is selected.

 

o - Save

It caches the crop data and shows the preview of the crop. The crop data will be used by the workflow to actually crop the image later.

 

o - Delete.

It flags the existing variantType to be deleted. When clicked, a red cross is displayed on the crop image (like before).

Clicking the button again, the flag is removed. The 'Delete' button is displayed only when a variant already exists into the database.

 

o: Revert.

It reverts to the initial state; that is, it shows the already existing variant (if any) or it clears the cached crop data in memory.

When you click the Save/Delete/Revert button of a variantType, the software automatically selects the next variantType into the list.

•added two icon buttons at the bottom of the variantType list: 'Delete All' and 'Revert All'. They delete/revert all the variantType into the list.

•added a tooltip to the label of the variantType into the list at the right. The tooltip says what pubDests are associated to that variantType.
