How Back4 reads the configuration?

When the Back4 service starts, it reads configurations in this order:

Back4 attempts to load the config with the name SERVERNAME.SERVICE NAME. Example: the server name is GN4 and the service name is Tera Back4, so the Back4 looks for the configuration GN4.Tera Back4, if it finds it, it loads it and that is it.

If the configuration explained in the previous step was not found, Back4 attempts to load the config with the name SERVERNAME. Example: the server name is GN4, so the Back4 looks for the configuration GN4, if it finds it, it loads it and that is it.

If the configuration explained in the previous step was not found, Back4 loads the factory settings, in other words the configuration ‘*’ as specified in the default BACK4Config.xml file.
