You may want to insert channel specific elements. Which elements will be available, it depends on your XML schema.

In the default configuration, the following channel-specific elements are available:

Web headline

If not defined, the standard headline is used for Web. Otherwise, the web headline content is used for Web, and the standard headline for other channels.

When you add a web headline, the content of the head element (if any) is copied over to web headline. So, after the adding a web headline, it is a duplicate of the print headline. Then, you can change it at will.

Web body

If not defined, the standard body is used for Web. Otherwise, the web body content is used for Web, and the standard headline for other channels.

Blog post

Use this standard article element for blog posts, directly from an article.

SMS body

Use this standard article element for the SMS channel.

Media Gallery

Use this standard article element (since 2.1) for the Web channel.

To add a channel specific element to an article

1.Open an article on the Articles main tab.

2.On the Tools menu, click the channel specific element to add.
