The Wires listing on the Shell main tab displays wire stories, images, video or audio and contains the following directory styles:
This directory style is the default one, and it displays 10 columns:
Columns description:
| T | Type and commands column, containing clipboard icon, check-out icon, the type icon (link to display XML), multicrop icon. |
| D | Audit column, containing copied to and copied from blue rectangular markers, or nothing, if not copied to/from. |
| P | Published to Web green rectangular marker, or nothing, if not published. |
| Name | Name of the item. The descName is displayed. |
| Length | Length of the text in the default column. |
| Words | Number of words in text. |
| Modified | The last modified date and time. |
| Published | Destinations where the item was published, or nothing, if not published. |

This directory style displays the small grid. The grid for stories contains the name, and the date of last modification, the first few lines of text, and the clipboard icon (at the bottom), while for images it contains the title, a thumbnail and the clipboard icon.

This directory style displays the large grid. The grid for stories contains the article name, and the date of last modification, the abstract of text, and the clipboard icon (at the bottom), while for images it contains the title, a thumbnail, folder, last modified date and the clipboard icon.

This directory style is part of the WireShell base query, in Shell4_Config.xml.
Note
In some GN4 versions, the wire content dragged in collections may be automatically hidden from wire listings. See Filtering out items in collections from wires listing.
