Use the Collections navigator when you need to locate a content in a collection.
Should you need to perform operations on collections more oriented to managing (browsing, retrieving, sending etc) and do not include content editing, you may want to use the Collections main tab instead.
In the current default configuration, you can locate content and wires by name, title, parent and type. Your customized configuration may be different than the standard configuration, so you might have available more or less or different options. You can combine more search options at once.
There is just one version of the search pane: with option buttons (Advanced).
To find content by name, type the name to find in the Name box. You can select the option.

You can combine "find by name" with all other search options on the same pane. More search options can be easily added in the configuration.
When done, click the refresh button , if the listing does not get refreshed automatically.

To find content by folder, click the Parent box, and then select a collection folders. Note: the search option is automatically set to In, but you can select other search options.

To find content by type, click the Type box, and then select one or more types. Available types are: audio, document, image, package, story (wire text), and video.

Drag the found any collection item on the article tree of an article, opened on the Articles main tab.
