Use the update option of the srv4 volume command to update a volume.

Example

  srv4 volume test -update -url d:\mynewdata

modifies the existing volume 'test' to use the new root directory 'd:\mynewdata'.

Modify login information/read-only status

Use the '-username', '-domain' and '-password' options to modify the login information.

Use the '-readonly' option to set the volume as read-only or vice-versa.

Notes

•When the URL directory is changed, srv4 does NOT move the files - the existing data files in the volumes must have been moved previously.
