In the Web Text Editor, you can do following:
•Cut, copy, paste in original format, paste as plain text, paste from Word.
•Print, spell check entire text, or check spelling as you type.
•Display word count on demand, or read the real-time counters below text.
•Undo changes, and undo undone (redo).
•Find and replace.
•Bold, italic, underline.
•Decrease and increase indent.
•Create a hyperlink or remove it.
•Create an anchor.
•Edit in source or HTML mode.
•Unclutter editing workspace, hiding temporarily the form tabs and metadata fields.
Note
Should a story be later converted in a GN4 article or a different format, suitable for a final destination, have in mind that the conversion XSL style sheet may not cover some of above listed text formatting functionalities, e.g. bold, italic, underline, indents, hyperlinks, anchors, or other you may want to add editing source file. In such case, the content will be sent as plain and not as formatted.
Consult your systems administrator in this regards.
Bug fixing
Since build 1.6.1927.x, the ckEditor is updated to the 3.6.6.1 version. This fixes the issue of the 8 key not working in the IE10 native mode. If after the upgrade it still does not work, then press CTRL-F5 in the edit dialog. This will force the page to be reloaded instead of using the cached one.
