Since 1.4.1572.x, you can select the action of numeric keys, among Split, Resize To and Weight. The selection is stored in personal preferences and it is active also between sessions.

Press the \ key, and then in the pop-up menu, select what you want.

Note: the key assignment in Fred4_TabiItems.xml is to the Oem5 key that may have different label on your keyboard, depending of the keyboard manufacturer.

Description of numeric keys options

•Split

Keys 1 through 9 split objects in 1 to 9 columns. Moreover, it splits image placeholders with or without captions, boxes and rules. For boxes and rules, the color and border properties are maintained.

If you hold SHIFT pressed, it splits frames in headline and body columns.

•Resize to

Keys 1 to 9 scale objects to 1 to 9 columns. All objects but images are scaled anisotropically (including images placeholders), while images are scaled isotropically.

•Set Weight

Keys 0 to 9 set weight of the border from 0 to 9pt.
