You can scale selected linked or unlinked frame(s), based on required number of words.

Select all frames you want to scale, and then on the Tools menu, click Set Words.

A dialog box is displayed that reads the actual estimate value (447 words on the above figure) and gives some more statistics.

You may enter a new value, e.g. 300 words. Fred4 will scale selected frames as requested, finding the closest match. In this example, it resized frames to contain estimate of 297 words. It will redisplay the same dialog box with the results, allowing you to select another size or accept the current values.

When done, click Cancel - the frames will keep the last applied size.
